Your Memory

Close your eyes and you will see
A place in your mind called your memory
The stories there have all been told
Some are new; others old.
"Remember like yesterday'';
Vivid in youth
So, ask a question, get the truth!
But when you get older, they dim with age;
Pictures fade like an old book's page.

Enemy amnesia; forgetful fiend
Forgetting past, present, and in-between
Otherwise memories, they never quit,
Unless you just plain
 Choose to forget.
